
We find the Royal Select (Mountain Water) Process to retain significantly more flavor than other water processed coffees. There may be a number of reasons for this - most likely the freshness and qualilty of the beans that are being decaffed, and the fact that RS decaf is not polished after decaffing.
The Sidamo region of Ethiopia is known for coffees with fruit and floral flavors, with a strong emphasis on the fruit from the natural processed coffees. Expect to find the same great aroma and berry flavors just as the original, but without all of the caffeine.
When roasted medium the berries are vibrant and the body well defined with a good clean finish.
