The Kimel coffee estate sits in the Wahgi valley at 5200 feet above sea level. The coffee is hand picked, wet-pulped, and sun dried. The beans are of a mixed variety of typica (blue mountain), arusha, catura, catimor, and mundo novo arabica coffees. The peaberry grade of this coffee creates an especially delightful roast. A slightly floral aroma with a clean bold taste. A dense syrupy body and a clean well balanced finish.
Shoot for a slightly dark roast, about 10-15 seconds into the second crack.
