Sumatra coffees have made a mark in the coffee community and even though some are more revered than others, there is no mistaking the deep bold taste and rich flavor. The Lintong region is a small area in the Southwestern part of Northern Sumatra. The coffees of this region are slightly less dramatic than those of the famed Mandheling region. With slightly-less body and a subdued earthiness, the Lintong has a nice mellow feel on the palate. Also look for a pleasant smokey flavor.

Best when roasted a good deal into the second crack, slightly longer for espresso.
