FreshRoast SR300 Home Coffee Roaster

The FreshRoast SR300 coffee bean roaster is designed to roast approximately 5 ounces of green coffee beans at one time. 5 ounces of roasted beans will yield 18-20 cups of coffee. The SR300 has a digital display and can handle time adjustments in increments of six seconds.

Instructions for Roasting Green Coffee Beans

Remove top and basket assembly.

Fill the provided 43cc measuring cup 4 times (up to 120 gms.). Never overfill with green coffee beans.

Place glass roasting chamber on the base unit.

Set timer to 5.9 minutes and switch machine ON.

Allow beans to cool and machine to turn off before removing top, basket, and glass chamber.

Allow beans a minimum of 3 hours to degas/cool before grinding and brewing.

Tips:

Remember all green coffee beans roast differently, with some roasting much quicker than others.

• If your beans are not dark enough after 5.9 minutes, you can add time with the (+) button before the machine goes into the "COOL" mode. Every time you tap the (+) button it will add six seconds and the (-) button will subtract 6 seconds from the roast sequence.
• If your beans are dense or 4 scoops weighs over 120 grams and the beans are not fliud enough at the beginning of the roast you should reduce the amount of beans to 100 grams.

CAUTION: Over roasting beans can create smoke. If this occurs, tap the COOL button. Do not tap the STOP button or unplug the machine.
